1757 Golf Club - just minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport - is The Ultimate Golf Experience in Northern Virginia.

Named after the same year Loudoun County was founded, 1757 features an 18-hole, par-70, 6,600-yard golf course.

1757 Golf Club’s par-70, 6,600-yard layout is a shot-maker’s dream. Routed through gently rolling terrain with elevation changes up to 30 feet, 1757 features dramatic views of Broad Run and the majestic Virginia landscape, along with strategically placed bunkers, streams and lakes.

Expertly designed by renowned architect David Heatwole, who brings nearly two decades of course design for legendary golfer/designer Jack Nicklaus to 1757, the bent-grass course, from tee to green, challenges the mind and stimulates the senses while remaining sensitive to the natural environment and true to the traditions of the game.

"Standout holes on the front nine includes the par-3 third - honest and stern - as well as the sixth and seventh." - GolfStyles

The course offers multiple sets of tees designed to accommodate golfers of all ability levels. The core layout is routed through mature stands of trees and over and around several ponds and creeks, bringing water into play on nearly every hole. Large undulated greens roll very true; however, subtle breaks can be misleading to even the best putter.

"The [course] is well-maintained by course superintendent Eric Nelson, who keeps the bentgrass playing firm and fast." - GolfStyles

Well-positioned tee shots will be rewarded with accessible approach shots, while errant shots will face the consequences of a difficult recovery. The finishing hole is a demanding par-3 over water to a treacherously shallow green requiring a bold stroke in order to avoid a watery grave. 1757 provides a fair yet challenging test of golf for everyone from the novice golfer to the seasoned veteran.

"The most unusual aspect of 1757 has to be the practice area...you'd have to look long and far to find a better place to hone your swing." - GolfStyles

"The huge range was busy even before the golf season began and 1757 is projecting a dramatic increase in rounds for 2011, the first full year the club has been opened." - GolfStyles
